Overview:
Robert Half is partnering with a growing and reputable construction company seeking an organized and detail-driven Operations Coordinator. This critical role supports the daily functions of project operations, logistics, and administration, ensuring project teams are equipped for success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, field-service environment and is proactive, adaptable, and resourceful.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate day-to-day operations between project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients
+ Manage scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for construction projects
+ Track project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met
+ Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders
+ Maintain and update internal project management systems and documentation
+ Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to confirm material deliveries and scheduling
+ Support invoicing, job costing, and budget tracking in collaboration with the accounting department
+ Ensure proper filing of project documents, permits, insurance certificates, and compliance records
+ Assist in onboarding new field staff, including managing certifications and safety documentation
+ Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; coordinate replenishments as needed
+ Contribute to continuous process improvement in field and office operations
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of experience in operations support, preferably in the construction or trades industry
+ Working knowledge of construction project lifecycle and terminology
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms a plus
+ Excellent communication and coordination skills, both written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
