Compensation Range
Hourly: $16.45 - $19.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
As part of the Consumer Loan Servicing team, you’ll provide back office operations support for a variety of specialty lending products. Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives remove roadblocks and complete operational tasks that allow Commerce to meet the customer’s lending needs. Operational tasks performed by Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives include loan document preparation, loan processing, booking, and research. If you are a detail oriented person with the ability to work quickly and accurately, this is the team for you!
Essential Functions
+ Assist in processing daily macro’s
+ Ensure compliance with department policies and regulations while accuracy and production goals are maintained
+ Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers
+ Daily proficient use of loan servicing systems; for example, Shaw, Encompass, Origenate, Temenos, etc.
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ Responsible for the execution, verification of lien perfection for all direct and indirect loans as well as completeness
+ Make necessary corrections to the loan system related to the collateral used for the loan
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Ability to learn or basic knowledge of the loan servicing field
+ Excellent customer service skills and ability to research answers and solutions
+ Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
+ Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
+ High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree in Business Administration preferred
+ 1+ year loan servicing experience preferred
