Spherion is seeking an experienced Operations Chief to oversee the daily operations of a water and wastewater treatment facility in Lake County.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and adjust treatment plant processes and equipment (manual and SCADA-based)
Perform water quality sampling, testing, and compliance analysis (federal, state, EPA standards) ... Operate, maintain, and repair plant equipment, including preventive maintenance
Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and recordkeeping
Lead, train, and supervise operational and maintenance staff
Review trends, logs, and reports to ensure efficiency and compliance
Develop SOPs, sampling regimens, and process monitoring tools
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental reports
Collaborate with maintenance staff, contractors, and regulators
Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 AM

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of progressive wastewater plant operations experience, including management experience
