Operations Analyst
**DESCRIPTION** As an **Operations Analyst** , you will play a critical role in transforming operational data into actionable insights that drive business performance. You’ll manage and analyze large datasets tied to retail program activity, cycle execution, and client reporting—helping teams make smarter, data-driven decisions. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Extract, input, and verify detailed cycle execution data from multiple sources for tracking and analysis. + Build interactive and insightful reports using **Excel** , including advanced pivot tables and formulas. + Compile client contract details to support quarterly commission reconciliations, payments, and reporting. + Develop custom **Power BI** dashboards and maintain existing reports with current data. + Identify and resolve data discrepancies, escalating issues as needed in a timely and organized manner. + Recommend improvements to internal processes and contribute to solution development. + Communicate project status clearly through weekly reports and team meetings. + Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc reporting and operational analysis. + Meet physical requirements as outlined in the role. + Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related field. **Experience** + **3–5 years** of relevant experience in operations, data analysis, or business reporting. + Proven success managing large datasets and delivering actionable insights. **Technical Skills** + Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** , including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization. + Intermediate to advanced experience with **Power BI** for building and maintaining custom dashboards. + Strong working knowledge of **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). **Analytical & Organizational Skills** + Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to identify data discrepancies and trends. + Solid business analytical skills with the ability to link data insights to operational outcomes. + Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Communication & Collaboration** + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and facilitate group discussions. + Assertive team player with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. **Additional Requirements** + Self-starter with experience managing time-sensitive projects independently. + Ability to travel if required. + Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and handling multiple priorities. \#DiscoverYourPath **ABOUT US** Acosta is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
