This is a full-time, salaried non-exempt position. The role works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and may occasionally require additional time on a weekday or an occasional weekend.
Position Summary:
This position requires a dedicated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual with a desire to provide exceptional administrative support. You will gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of the business and the priorities of the company. Responsibilities include performing administrative duties and supporting other staff members with clerical tasks. You will report to the Erlanger Plant Manager and provide support to other Operations Managers as well as the on-site Human Resources Manager.
Position Responsibilities:Manage the indirect PO processSupport management of Fieldglass and contract labor requests/time approvalsRun weekly and monthly worked-hours reportsOrder standard items (office supplies, safety supplies, etc.)Enter training records for Safety, Food Safety, and HRServe as chairperson for the on-site People TeamDevelop and distribute the Operations monthly newsletterPerform a broad range of responsibilities, from routine to complex, while maintaining a calm and confident demeanorEnsure confidentiality on matters related to operationsMaintain the office filing system (including record retention) in both paper and electronic formatsSupport Performance Excellence initiatives and activitiesProvide administrative support to other departments or projects as neededPerform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:High school diploma or GED required3–5 years of administrative office experience requiredHR experience or prior exposure to HR-related tasks preferredAbility to multitaskExcellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-upProven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes in environment and responsibilitiesDedication to continuous learningStrong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher)Willingness to participate in training to improve leadership and office management skillsAbility to handle diverse activities and concurrent projectsAbility to resolve routine problems independentlyAbility to prepare routine administrative paperwork; analyze and address problems; organize and coordinate work; promote a collaborative work environment; and maintain efficient office workflow Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
