**Job Summary**
+ The Operations Accountant plays a role in overseeing and optimizing financial activities within the organization. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity of financial information, compliance with standardized internal processes and regulatory requirements, and the efficient coordination of financial processes across various functions.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Organize and direct the month-end close process across the Market and Branches.
+ Enforce and maintain Branch and Market level internal controls.
+ Responsible for oversight and control of Branch and Market level accounting and working capital, including billing/accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, prepaids & accruals, and Branch and Market property, plant & equipment.
+ Provide training and coaching to Branch teams and support the VPGM & Regional VP Finance.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree (required) - Accounting or Finance (preferred)
+ Minimum 1-year previous accounting experience preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and managing month-end close process (including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations) for a similar-sized market/business required.
+ Strong analytical & communication skills
+ High level of proficiency in Consolidation ERPs (Oracle and OneStream a plus) and Excel to perform spreadsheet and financial analysis
**Physical Demands/Requirements:**
+ Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers
+ Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
+ Operates in an office environment and requires in-person presence
**Work Environment:**
+ Work is conducted in a professional office environment, with a collaborative and dynamic team setting and requires in-person presence
