The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Global Communications team:
RTX is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative event operations lead to manage event execution, as well as oversee all operational aspects of meetings and events. Scope of work includes initial planning and budgeting, to the coordination of logistics on the event day, to post show measurement and reporting. The candidate will also drive standardization of processes, training, and responsibilities across the company.
As part of RTX’s Brand Reputation Center of Expertise (COE), the Strategic Customer Events team develops and implements a global events strategy to build relationships, enhance brand loyalty, and provide positive experience with our internal and external customers. The team educates and shapes meetings, events, and conferences with internal and external customers to support business growth and optimize marketing investments.
The ideal candidate is highly-organized, process-oriented professional with operations and event-planning experience.
What You Will Do:
Drive standardization of customer meetings and events processes, training, and vendor sourcing, selection and management.Support ticketing execution of RTX tier one event sponsorships.Oversee expense report submissions, internal chargebacks, and budget tracking for RTX strategic customer events.Develop and understand business goals, logistical needs, and budget for each event to ensure all planning and execution meets objectives and expectations.Evaluate event success by standardizing post-event measurement and reporting, using feedback to improve future event planning and execution.Manage customer database support as necessary using RTX’s customer relationship management tools.Manage and update the Strategic Customer Events calendar used to plan, program, and execute events.Work closely with RTX functional partners, including ethics, compliance, global trade and legal, to ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures. Apply the business gift and sponsored travel tool as required.Attend selected in-person and digital events to ensure RTX maintains the quality and standards required.Travel up to 10%Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experienceMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not seek an export authorization for this roleProficient in project management, Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), planning tools (Cvent, TicketManager, Cirrus), and basic CRM tools (Dynamics, Salesforce, TED).
Skilled in contract review/negotiation, delivering superior customer service, and exceeding expectations in dynamic and matrixed environments.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively while adapting to fast-paced and evolving conditions.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
