HOW AN OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (OT) ASSET VISIBILITY AND SECURITY ENGINEERING LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role, a typical day will include:
Lead position is responsible for coordination and workload balancing of the team, facilitating, and ensuring appropriate technical decisions are made to support fulfillment of Postal goals and objectives in required timelinesThe lead individual further works closely between the technical team and Postal leadership and architecture and strategy teams to ensure engineered solutions meet all functional and architectural requirementsAnalyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needsCandidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environmentWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not requiredNOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is requiredRequired Experience:
13+ years of OT security experience and application of asset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management security efforts supporting both OT operations and security efforts including network access control, USB attached device control, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability management, and security event investigation supportCandidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prepare and interpret flowchartsBuild & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plansStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.Security Clearance Level:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.Location:
