A leading energy operator is progressing the final construction and installation phases of a significant offshore gas development. As the project transitions toward transport, installation, and early operations, we are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Assurance (ORA) Maintenance & Reliability Lead to join the project team on a fixed-term basis through mid?2027.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to make a meaningful impact on a major greenfield/brownfield development, particularly one involving a Not Normally Manned (NNM) offshore facility.
About the RoleThe ORA Maintenance & Reliability Lead will oversee the delivery of all Maintenance Reliability Turnaround (MRTA) content and act as the Subject Matter Focal Point for maintenance execution on an NNM facility. The position requires strong integration skills, technical depth, and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities Drive completion of EPCI deliverables and ensure all OR&A MRTA requirements align with the Operations & Maintenance Philosophy.Develop a fit?for?purpose Asset Care Plan tailored to the project’s maintenance organisation.Support Maintenance Management processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.Provide expertise in CMMS and SAP systems (SAP?PM, SAP?MM).Deliver Inspection Management Systems and Integrity Verification Procedures to support safe operations.Establish long-term maintenance and discipline training contracts where required.Provide technical support for first?call maintenance issues and drive continuous improvement.Resolve execution challenges by clarifying scope conflicts and engineering documentation gaps.Support early operations through root?cause analysis and recovery planning for equipment issues.Act as the focal point for site maintenance feedback, integrating learnings into the Asset Care Plan.Optimise maintenance for NNM operations, including remote strategies and campaign?based planning.Experience & Qualifications Higher technical qualification or equivalent experienceExtensive background in Production & Maintenance Operations; integrated gas asset experience highly regardedExperience with remote or NNM operationsStrong understanding of OR Discipline Delivery Plans (DDP), completions, construction, and commissioningIn?depth knowledge of Manage Asset Care (MAC) processesStrong delivery focus with the ability to drive activities to completionCourage and resourcefulness in solving complex system, process, or data challengesNatural integrator with strong influencing skillsEffective leader and team player with cross?cultural coaching capabilityAdaptable to evolving organisational needsPractical understanding of best?practice maintenance processes
