Job Overview
Manage medium to large scale projects across Operational Effectiveness Services (OES) and the organization, delivering global solutions that identify and accelerate operational productivity, optimization and efficiency through change and process improvements increasing value-add throughout the organization. Assume responsibility and ownership of projects and business challenges developing establishment as subject matter expert ensuring high quality, timely, on budget deliverables in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices.
Essential Functions
Manage medium scale projects crossing OES core services, functional groups, and regions ensuring high quality deliverable generation positively impacting data capture, project planning, change/data/process management, and compilation.Work closely with service area leads assist with the management of large-scale projects.Actively participate in discussions with operations, OES management, and Executive Management teams to determine project scope, timelines, and feasibility for assigned project(s).Direct project analysis, planning, strategy, and implementation, including determination and establishment of objectives for assigned project(s); establishment of work plan and timeline for successful implementation; conduct research and prompt discussions regarding project specifications and adjustments.Manage, monitor, and report on multiple high priority/cross OES core services project(s) to OES and Executive Management.Apply evolving subject matter expertise to identify Statistical Process Control, Lean Six Sigma, and other process /data analysis to guide global process improvement initiatives. Ensure alignment of process with business unit and OES strategies enabling incorporation with IQVIA’ strategy.Ensure successful collaboration of internal stakeholders: OES, client and IQVIA throughout the life of project(s).Serve as primary contact while leading assigned project problem solving and resolution efforts.Record and document project activities.Produce, distribute, and present report/presentation materials to OES management and executive management team.Resolve and escalate issues in a professional and timely fashion.Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, business, or related field7 years of experience in a relevant function such as clinical operations, applied math, IT, data management, business, laboratory, project management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data capture and compilation toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project leadership, staff management, and/or project planning skillsStrong attention to detail/quality control skills while driving initiatives to closureStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsCompetent presentation and interpersonal skills meeting the needs of all levels within the organization up to and including the Executive ManagementAbility to successfully lead, manage and motivate staffAbility to demonstrate and apply relevant and evolving subject matter expertise illustrating mastered understanding of process / data analysis techniques and methodologiesAbility to successfully and quickly grasp, understand and apply various analysis techniques and methodologiesAbility to innovatively solve problems with demonstrated success delivering desired results according to quality guidelines and timelinesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, operations staff, clients, and executive management membersAmenable to work on Hybrid Set up in Mckinley, TaguigAmenable to work on night shift scheduleIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
