With strong expertise in both business and data processes, they focus on the entities that matter most, ensuring information remains accurate, consistent, and reliable. By maintaining product master data and continuously monitoring data quality, they safeguard the integrity of the organization’s information assets. As Operational Data Specialist you will be responsible for:
• Data Governance
- Critical data assets monitoring, ensuring compliance with data governance framework policies (ownership, quality & data classification)
• Data Quality
- Creation of Data Quality rules, following definition by Data Stewards
- Monitoring and proactive remediation within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Data Maintenance Processes
- CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) for agreed master data entities
• Relations
- Escalates to: Data Owner Contact and Data Managers
- Coordinates with: Data Stewards ensuring data issue resolution
• Improvements
To raise improvement initiatives in case of process inefficiencies; participate actively in process improvement projects and initiatives
• Other
Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request
Skills and experience you bring:
University Degree ( IT, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration is a plus) 2 years or more in Product Master Data. Projects experience is a plus Fluent English (B2) Microsoft Office proficiency ERP system Knowledge (SAP S4, SAP MDG) MS Office (Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation and PPT) SQL or Database querying Ability to assess and resolve data issues and identify root causes of data integration or processing errors Understanding of product lifecycle, categories and attributes (UOM, descriptions, classifications) Ability to follow and document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and against challenging deadline Ability to absorb knowledge quickly Project collaboration
