Position Overview

The Operational Continuous Improvement Engineer serves as a strategic operational leader focused on systematically enhancing JLL's real estate operations through process improvements, cost reduction, and service delivery optimization. This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on implementation to drive operational excellence across the commercial real estate portfolio.

Core Responsibilities

Process Analysis & DesignDocument and map existing operational processes using value stream mapping and process mining techniquesConduct comprehensive workflow analysis and gap assessmentsDesign optimized future-state processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologiesDevelop standardized SOPs and quality control frameworks

Data Analytics & Performance ManagementEstablish KPIs and collect operational data from IWMS, BMS, and ERP systemsCreate executive dashboards and real-time performance monitoring toolsDevelop predictive models for operational performance and maintenance forecastingConduct statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunities

Project LeadershipLead cross-functional improvement projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $2M+Manage stakeholders across operations, facilities, IT, and finance departmentsCoordinate resource allocation and timeline management for multiple concurrent initiativesImplement project governance with stage-gate reviews

Technology IntegrationAssess technology stack and identify automation opportunitiesDeploy RPA, BPM, and workflow automation solutionsSupport PropTech adoption and digital transformation initiativesCreate technology roadmaps aligned with operational objectives

Required Qualifications

Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration3-5 years of process improvement experience with 1-2 years of leadership experienceReal estate, facilities management, or property operations experience preferred

Technical CompetenciesProficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologiesAdvanced analytics skills with Excel, Power BI, and TableauKnowledge of operational technology systems and database managementProject management principles and tools expertise
