Operations Scientist - I

Work Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift)

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations

Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.

Communicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly

Order consumables for projects as needed

Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.

Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines

Set up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment

Attend and participate in project meetings

Support process improvement initiatives

Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment

Participate in client visits as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma with 2 years or more of relevant laboratory experience

Experience using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)

Experience with analytical instrumentation

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology or related scientific field.

2 years or more laboratory experience

Experience working multiple projects in various stages at the same time

GLP Documentation experience

Experience with basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel)

Experience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects

Additional Job Standards:

Ability to handle a fast paced environment

Organized and detailed communication

Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

Pay Range:

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
