This is an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Operations Manager in Shanghai. You will play a pivotal role in integrating and growing our DG business. You will also ensure flawless EHS and compliance risk management within our DG warehouse operations.

Build and manage efficient interfaces and handover processes with each pickup siteDevelop and deliver practical SOP/WI and training programs for collaboratorsLead a team to ensure daily operations, including goods receipt and dispatch, stock transfers, repacking, and inventory managementEstablish important metrics and scorecards to measure and improve warehouse performanceBuild a transparent 3PL warehouse cost analysis dashboardOptimize China's warehouse and distribution networkApply PPI methodology for continuous process excellence and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with the Sourcing team for vendor evaluation, onboarding, and managementIntroduce advanced WMS systems and digital applications to improve market competitivenessMaintain up-to-date expertise on DG warehouse regulationsThe Successful ApplicantMinimum 5 years of operations experience in a multinational corporation, including over one years in a managerial role, and 3 years in the dangerous chemicals industryProficiency in DG classification and storage conditionsExtensive hands-on experience with DG warehouse safety and barcode systemsCollege degree in a chemical-related fieldStrong communication skills in English and MandarinProficient in MS Office, Office 365, Power BI, and ERP systemsStrong data analysis skills, both technically and strategicallySelf-motivated great teammate with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
