Direct, coordinate, develop, and manage the storage and distribution process for medical devices in Puerto Rico, pursuing a business integration process that creates a sustainable competitive advantage in the market, ensuring compliance with service agreements with the 3PL, in coordination with Deliver's regional strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees the 3PL's daily activities with an emphasis on inventory management, receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
• Ensures compliance with standards and GMPs aligned with regulatory agency requirements.
• Ensures warehouse facilities are maintained in accordance with our standards.
• Responsible for overseeing the 3PL's logistics to customers, ensuring transparent order delivery execution in accordance with our customers' expectations and business objectives.
• Responsible for the relentless execution of customer service with internal and external customers.
• Manages customer and 3PL expectations and ensures that appropriate change processes are followed in the event of new requirements, in accordance with our policies.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and evaluates their implementation within the business's strategic objectives.
• Supports budget and capital processes and execution within the scope of their role.
• Ensures quality standards and policies are followed within the team and with third parties related to the operation. including legal and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for investigating, documenting, and developing preventive and corrective actions for all non-conformance events, recording them in our Quality system
• Responsible for internal, external, regulatory, and financial audits
• Develops and recommends changes to operational processes, equipment, or facilities for improved material management
• Supports the realistic development and achievement of KPIs through ongoing monitoring and communication
• Interacts effectively with Sales, Planning, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Operations departments to manage cross-functional processes and resolve deviations impacting the area under their responsibility.
• Responsible for inventory management, accuracy, compliance, and warehouse processes at the 3PL, as well as handling expired products, quarantine, and recalls.
• Establishes appropriate budgets and operates within the established spending framework
• Responsible for new implementations or changes to go-to-market strategies at the 3PL, which may include the development of new consignments or implementations related to logistics processes.
• Follows and ensures that leadership competencies and imperatives are met within their role
• Actively participates in the planning and execution of strategies aimed at achieving business goals and objectives
• Responsible for the administration and execution of business policies and recommends changes to add or delete tasks as needed
• Observes and complies with all procedures, programs, systems, rules, and regulations at all times, including, but not limited to, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Data Management, Human Resources, and Security, among others.
Qualifications:
+ A Bachelors Degree is required. Bachelors degree in engineering, business administration or related field is preferred.
+ A minimum of 2 years of realted work experience is required.
+ Previous experience in warehouse supervision and management is preferred.
+ Impeccable inventory management, quality controls, and compliance with local and federal regulations.
+ Leadership skills to lead teams and motivate employees to set and meet daily goals.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
+ Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all customer deliveries.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and the SAP operating system is required.
