Why You Belong Here You bring strong experience coordinating Operating Room operations, with knowledge in materials management, inventory control, stocking, and vendor relations. Experience in Materials Management is required to succeed in this role. Previous hospital experience is highly preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is highly valued. What You'll Do As an Operating Room Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting daily clinical operations by ensuring the OR, pre-op, post-op, and anesthesia areas are fully equipped and ready for patient care. This role focuses on materials management, vendor coordination, and supply readiness—not administrative scheduling—helping the clinical team operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Responsibilities: + Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of all OR, pre-op, post-op, and anesthesia supplies. + Serve as primary contact for vendors, including follow-ups, updates, and bill-only processing. + Maintain supply accuracy and readiness across 3 OR rooms and all perioperative spaces. + Monitor inventory levels, adjust par levels, and ensure timely replenishment. + Support communication with clinical staff regarding supply needs, product changes, and equipment availability. What We're Looking For Requirements Education: + High School Diploma or GED, required + Bachelor’s degree, preferred Experience: + Minimum of three years in materials management OR + Minimum of three years BROAD OR/Surgical Services experience, required Additional Skills (Required): + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Additional Skills (Preferred): + Experience in OR/Surgical Services materials management, logistics, planning, and operational support Why Choose Novant Health?
