Job Description

The operations team leader at our Oxnard plant will be responsible for leading a team of logistics operators to ensure that all plant production is preformed efficiently for our family care paper products (Charmin, Bounty) and adheres to safety, quality and continuous improvement standards.

As well as being the main point of contact between management and employees working on the production of Charmin and Bounty products you will also lead the implementation of the production plan, ensuring that it is executed safely, on time, in full and in compliance with quality standards. You will also work closely with the maintenance department to implement predictive maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability.

Job Responsibilities


• Supervise the execution of the production plan and coordinate resources with other departments.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement, complying with the regulations and procedures defined.
• Ensure that all employees receive adequate training and are certified in the necessary positions.
• Participate in multifunctional teams focused on solving problems related to safety, quality, production, logistics, etc.
• Actively participate in the development of personnel under their supervision through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Foster a culture of respect, recognition and inclusion, reflecting the organization's values ​​in their behavior.
• Work closely with the maintenance department to implement predictive maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability.
 

Job Qualifications

Required

Minimum of 5-7 of experience in a logistics maufacturing environment in a leadership position as a logisitcs line leader or operating department leader.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems.

Able to identify, define and analyse alternative courses of action.

Able to accomplish tasks as an individual contributor or more direct supervision.

Able to develop knowledge and skills in self and others to deliver against current and future job requirements.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Management or applicable degree
