Our client is looking for an experienced OpenShift Engineer with deep expertise in the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and VMware virtualized on-prem workloads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating CI/CD workflows, developing scalable infrastructure, and maintaining stringent security standards-all within a development/lab environment. Experience supporting MSO (Multiple System Operator), mobile, or telecommunications environments is highly desirable. This position requires an engineer who can arrive Day 1 with a rock-solid foundation, able to hit the ground running and mentor others. You will work closely with a collaborative onsite team in Greenwood Village with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week, balancing team engagement with work-life flexibility. Key Responsibilities: * Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters, with OpenShift Virtualization experience considered a major plus * Deploy and operate on-prem OCP environments with strong hands-on expertise * Maintain and upgrade OpenShift clusters and components, ensuring high availability and security * Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift and related tools (e.g., GitLab CI) * Develop and maintain automation scripts for cluster provisioning and ongoing maintenance using tools like Ansible and Helm * Monitor OpenShift clusters for performance, scalability, and reliability * Troubleshoot issues at the application, infrastructure, platform, and container levels
