\"Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Administrator as the primary role with hands-on experience managing and supporting on-premises deployments of the latest Red Hat OpenShift versions and with secondary expertise in **AWS Administration**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and scaling of our Test, Production (active), and Production (DR) OpenShift clusters, while also supporting related AWS infrastructure and services. The role also involves contributing to Data Center Migration efforts by establishing and operationalizing OCP clusters in the new environment. A working knowledge of container security best practices is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

* **OpenShift Administration (Primary Focus)**

• Administer and manage on-premises OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across Test, Prod (Active), and Prod (DR) environments.
• Troubleshoot runtime issues related to OCP clusters, workloads, networking, storage, and underlying infrastructure.
• Perform ongoing software maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and configuration updates while minimizing system downtime.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization; proactively address or escalate anomalies.
• Scale and add capacity to OCP clusters based on workload demands and remediate any capacity bottlenecks or imbalances.
• Maintain and enhance automation for cluster management tasks using tools like Ansible, GitOps (e.g., Argo CD), and scripting.
• Collaborate with application teams to support workload deployment, build pipelines, and issue resolution within the cluster environment.
• Provide recommendations on OpenShift security controls, policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and container image scanning.
• Document procedures for maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for internal teams and audits.
• Coordinate with hardware and platform teams for infrastructure-related dependencies and upgrades.
• Support Data Center Migration efforts by helping establish and operationalize OCP clusters in the new environment.

* **AWS Administration (Secondary Focus)**

• Support and maintain AWS services related to OCP workloads (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS integration where applicable).
• Assist with provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AWS resources.
• Participate in hybrid-cloud integration and workload migration initiatives between on-prem and AWS.
• Apply AWS security and compliance best practices in coordination with OCP clusters.

Nice to Have:
• Experience recommending or implementing container and platform-level security best practices.
• Exposure to image signing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tooling (e.g., Clair, Trivy, Aqua).
• Familiarity with persistent storage integration, ingress controllers, and service mesh in OpenShift.
• Knowledge of cluster capacity planning, vertical and horizontal scaling, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation for AWS.\"
