The position emphasizes the development of novel immunomodulatory or disease-modifying therapeutic approaches, as well as innovative strategies for immune protection and evasion in stem cell-derived islet cells for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute at the intersection of islet autoimmunity, translational immunology, islet cell biology, transplantation research, and stem cell biology. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties.
