The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a proactive Laboratory Support Technician to join our team based at the site in Liverpool (Speke), UK. This multi-disciplinary role is essential to supporting laboratory operations, enabling scientists to focus on their core research by ensuring the lab environment runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of lab processes and a passion for delivering high-quality technical support in a regulated scientific setting.

This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite at AZ Speke. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including a bonus, a pension scheme, private medical and dental care, and an additional day off for your birthday.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, core hours

The Team

You’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting the QC and Flu-BPD laboratories. This role sits within our Lab and Production Services division, which partners with leading pharmaceutical companies and research institutions globally.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a laboratory support or technician roleFamiliarity with GMP standards and Health & Safety regulationsStrong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and WordUnderstanding of SHE policies and proceduresExcellent communication and customer service skills
