Job Description:
The Online Trading Assistant is responsible for supporting the vision through execution of online tasks for all country websites. Working closely with the Online Trading Officers and wider Trading team, the Online Trading assistant will support the execution of product priorities across all websites whilst finding opportunities to improve the on-site customer journey and maximise online sales.

What you'll do:
Partner with Online Trading to present credible opportunities to maximise sales online. Aim to improve customer engagement as part of everyday trading whilst adopting a customer mentality
Work closely within a GM Partnership to drive department sales and elevate the online customer experience
Review, share and identify themes in performance of brands, searches and product pages
Own and action regular website housekeeping including quick links, navigation, IBI and facets
Support the on-site customer journey through proactively owning merchandising hierarchy mapping, updating as required to ensure product is reflected accurately across websites
Ensure a high-quality delivery of early access programme through newly introduced automation tool
Support the activity plan through execution and development of product listing pages, sharing with Ecomm partners. Highlight new and exciting opportunities for upcoming activity across markets in a way that is possible through our website platform and available toolkit
Provide support for online trading events (such as Black Friday, Charity), ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout. Share findings to influence future decision making
Contribution and sharing of competition analysis across online markets
Maintain website publishing guidelines; partner closely with the photo studio on ad hoc requests such as new changes and publishing priorities
Partner closely with IT in raising website defects and enhancement opportunities
Support the improvement of internal ecommerce processes including automation opportunities
