Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent required;
• Proven track record for performance and attendance in current position required;
• Formal Lockout/Tagout training required;
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Valid Driver's license and ability to travel between plants required;
• Prior work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or equivalent an asset;
• Comprehend the three main control factors of production plant: NG (no good parts), DT (downtime) and CT (cycle time);

• Aptitude for mechanical and electrical equipment;
• Strength and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems;
• Self-motivated, ability to take initiative and follow through to job completion;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to work flexible hours and willing to work overtime, as required;
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach;
• Ability to lift max. 50lbs periodically;
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel on a regular basis;
• Ability to work at a computer workstation (sitting or standing);
• Ability to work in areas that may have slippery conditions;
• Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature;

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE:
• Training both in-house and off-site
• Following a learning curve with continuous development.
• Movement between plants to ensure cross training between all three facilities.
