Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator with 1–2 years of prior research coordination experience. The ideal candidate will have taken full responsibility in previous roles, not merely as a research assistant or backup coordinator. This role involves frequent use of EPIC and focuses on cardiovascular research. You will play a key role in managing industry-sponsored trials and regulatory tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and manage clinical research trials in cardiology and oncology.
+ Handle regulatory tasks, including IRB submissions.
+ Engage in sponsor correspondence, excluding budget and contracting.
+ Conduct the informed consent process with participants.
+ Schedule standard-of-care procedures.
+ Ensure investigational product accountability.
+ Collaborate with local nurses for blood draws.
+ Maintain direct communication with investigators and actively manage client engagement.
+ Pre-screen patients and handle recruitment processes.
+ Perform data entry and utilize electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
Essential Skills
+ 1–2 years of experience in clinical research coordination.
+ Proficiency in using EPIC.
+ Experience in oncology coordination, particularly in leading trials for 2-3+ years.
+ Strong understanding of GCP and IRB regulations.
+ Effective communication and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior cardiovascular experience or relevant education supporting cardiology terminology.
+ Bilingual candidates are preferred, although translation services are available.
+ Familiarity with Informed Consent Forms (ICF) and interpreter coordination.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tacoma, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
