Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Genetics Counselor, you will provide specialized guidance and compassionate support to individuals and families navigating complex genetic information, profoundly impacting their understanding and decision-making.
Every day you will expertly assess genetic risks, explain inheritance patterns, interpret genetic test results, and meticulously counsel patients on implications and options, empowering them to make informed personal and medical choices.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and an empathetic, non-directive demeanor, contributing significantly to informed consent and comprehensive family planning.
Job Requirements
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
Master’s Degree in genetic counseling required.
Licensure/Certification:
