Job Description
The Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for conducting patient visits and working directly with patients, as well as collaborating with research nurses during these visits. While they will not handle data and regulatory functions, a basic understanding is necessary as they will be supported by dedicated teams. The role involves working across various disease groups and supporting research studies, with involvement in patient recruitment through referrals, tumor boards, and new consults.
ResponsibilitiesConduct patient visits and collaborate with research nurses.Participate in patient recruitment and inclusion/exclusion processes.Support multiple research studies without leading or owning any.Manage patient loads with no more than 10 patients per week.Essential SkillsClinical research experience, including patient-facing roles and consenting patients, with at least one year of experience.Proficiency in conducting clinical trials and oncology research.Patient recruitment skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field.Clinical research certification.Experience with Phase 1 oncology clinical trials.SOCRA or ACRP certification offers opportunities for higher pay and career growth.Work Environment
The role offers work hours starting between 7:00-9:00 am depending on patient schedules. The position requires 8-hour shifts, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Initially, the role requires onsite presence every day for the first three months, after which, remote work is possible one day a week.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
