The opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated and highly organized Onboarding Coordinator to join our Talent Recruitment team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by ensuring new hires feel welcomed, informed, and ready to succeed from day one. You’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience and helping us build a better working world through seamless onboarding.

 

Your key responsibilities

Overseeing and coordinating the full onboarding process, acting as the go-to contact for candidates and internal stakeholders until the candidate joins, confidently guiding them through each step of the onboarding journey. Providing clear and regular communication with hiring managers, HR, and new joiners, confidently guiding them through each step. Proactively following up with stakeholders to confirm onboarding steps and timelines. Maintaining accurate records and reporting onboarding metrics to stakeholders. Collaborating with on-shore and off-shore teams to ensure documentation and IT provisioning are in place in a timely matter before the candidate joins. Liaise with the immigration team for visa/work permit cases. Planning and prioritising onboarding tasks using project management skills to ensure timely execution. Organise and facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new hires to EY’s culture, policies, and ways of working. Weekly monitoring of the onboarding process to identify gaps or delays before they escalate. Gathering feedback from new joiners and stakeholders to assess what’s working and what could be improved. Suggesting and implementing enhancements to streamline coordination and ensure consistency across teams.

 

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when facilitating orientations.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in recruitment or onboarding coordination.

• Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
