Job Description:

As part of the Development & Performance Team, this individual will provide new employees:

A best-in-class onboarding journey

An introduction to firm culture, purpose, values, and organizational structure

Timely access to communication, resources, and firm technology/systems

As part of the Human Resources Team, this individual will support core HR operations:

Maintain accurate and confidential employee documentation

Communicate firm policies and related compliance tasks

Support the administration and compliance of key HR processes and procedures


Key Onboarding Job Responsibilities:

Facilitate engaging, high-energy firmwide in-person onboarding for new hires every week

Regularly update the onboarding calendar for both weekly and large group start dates

Send welcome emails and calendar invites to incoming employees

Maintain accurate and up-to-date onboarding report data

Ensure all onboarding resources are current and in line with the firm’s purpose, values, initiatives, and brand; flag improvement opportunities

Collaborate with other teams to confirm key onboarding role assignments


Key HR Job Responsibilities:

Acquire expertise in catalog of new hire forms, onboarding tasks and personnel reports

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data integrity in HRIS systems

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

Support compliance with payroll, benefits, and leave regulations

Assist HR Manager with timely processing of voluntary separations and exit documentation


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Required (Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Marketing and/or Communications, English, Instructional Design, or related field preferred)

Minimum of five years experience in Human Resources

Experience in professional services firm preferred

Professionalism: requires diplomacy, confidentiality, and confidence in dealing with sensitive information

High energy level with excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence

Highly effective and polished verbal and written communication skills

Ability to facilitate complex content with expertise

Expertise with meeting technologies including audio visual systems and webinar platforms including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams

Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality

Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, SharePoint, and web-based applications with ability to learn and easily adapt to new technology

Ability to build strong relationships with personnel at all levels in a professional services environment

Ability to work on multiple projects both collaboratively and independently and provide deliverables on time and on brand

Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Strong organizational, time management and logical thinking skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and flexible environment with ability to demonstrate openness to new challenges, opportunities, continuous learning, and able to easily adapt to change
