Quality is at the heart of who we are. The Supplier Quality team key’s objective is to ensure the highest quality in raw materials and garment manufacturing and production. This team leads, manages and proactively works with our global vendor base to ensure Lululemon quality standards are met. This team will implement, automate, streamline and enroll all staff members in a comprehensive quality control and process excellence initiative without compromising Lululemon’s design flare and time to market.
The Supplier Quality team works closely with business functions across the Product Integrity organization as well as the greater supply chain organizations and LLO’s.
A day in the life:
Prevent, control and remediate quality non-conformances or defects before and during production.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve pre-production samplesConduct RM PPMBConduct pre-production meetings with factories in accordance with policy and procedureEnsure conformance to established visual standardsAudit supplier/mill’s quality controls through physical inspection and analysis of the supplier’s inspection dataReview and calibrate any differences between RM and FG’s visual inspection reports (outgoing and incoming)Review and remediate non-conformances during production, including scoping, preliminary root-cause analysis, and rectifying any impacted unitsSuspend production when key non-conformances cannot be immediately resolvedResolve any issues or non-conformances identified by the Global QA TeamValidate completion of style and RM related CAPAsOther Responsibilities:
You work cross-functionally with your SSC (Store Support Centre) and LLO quality partners to support quality and brand initiatives at the factory and to achieve the goal of having the highest quality apparelYou will ensure that the garments/accessories produced for lululemon meet or exceed the quality expectationsYou will work on improvement plans with the factories when issues arise and ensure that the projects are executed to successful completionYou coach factory partners at all levels in quality, including the aspects that make lululemon aesthetically and functionally the highest qualityYou support new technologies and techniques in production through benchmarking, educating and sharing knowledge with the SSC, LLO and other quality educatorsYou communicate and review quality scorecards with factoriesYou will be a conduit for explaining QA directives, SOPs new processes to the factoriesMust haves:Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
