On Call TurboProp Avionics Instructor Pilot

About This Role

                                                                                                         

CAE x SIMCOM is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Instructor Pilot. This role will adhere to CAE and SIMCOM standards and policies. The instructor pilot will conduct ground school and simulator training during Initial, Recurrent, or specialty training courses for our clients. The ideal candidate will prioritize customer progress and performance, using a tailored approach to individual training needs, including lesson planning, classroom and simulator setup, and maintaining current publications and training materials. 

**Duties and Responsibilities**
As an Instructor Pilot, provide standardized training in the classroom and/or simulator for the following events:

Captain UpgradesInitial and Recurrent TrainingDifferences TrainingEnforce company standards by teaching and requiring others to fly according to established service and safety standardsStrong interpersonal, verbal/written, listening, and presentation skills are essential for effectively teaching required topics and providing constructive feedbackEvaluate customers' progress in acquiring skills and knowledge based on standards set at SIMCOMAssist in defining customer training requirements through participation in training conferences and meetings

⠀**Education / Skills / Background**

Holds a CFI or CFI-I rating.Associate degree or college degree preferred; high school diploma or state-issued equivalent required.Three years of relevant work experience and a total time of 3,000 hours of flying preferred.Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.Must be able to participate in CAE’s DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program.Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written; able to speak, understand, read, and write effectively.
