OMS CHAMPION
Responsibilities

The OMS Champion will support the effective implementation and long-term sustainability of the Operations Management System (OMS) at the site level. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, improving processes, and enhancing team capabilities across warehouse and supply chain functions. The officer will serve as a coach and change agent, ensuring teams adhere to OMS processes and principles to meet performance targets and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nConduct internal audits to ensure adherence to BASICS, DHL standards, and OMS standard requirements.\nDrive the implementation and sustaining of OMS, including the 4 Principles and 12 Elements.\nProvide insights to the site manager regarding the improvement of OMS implementation.\nDrive and oversee Lean initiatives focused on enhancing process efficiency and delivering lasting improvements.\nApply Lean methodologies and tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and DMAIC to assess and streamline operations.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to promote a mindset of continuous improvement and embed Lean principles into daily practices.\nProvide guidance and training to team members on Lean strategies and effective implementation techniques.\nPerform ongoing process evaluations to ensure alignment with Lean standards and uncover additional areas for optimization.\nCoach site leadership teams—including supervisors and coordinators—on OMS practices and leadership behaviors.\nCoach site leadership to ensure the accuracy and quality of the data system.\nFacilitate training and workshops on process adherence, performance management, and continuous improvement.\nLead or support continuous improvement initiatives, especially in warehouse and supply chain operations.\nRequirements

Qualifications & Experience:

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.\n3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.\nHands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working with performance management tools and data dashboards is an advantage.\n\n
