The role:

You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Programme Management Team. Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.
Main Duties
This role shall manage programme Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunity (RAIDO) activities by:
Ensuring the smooth running and facilitation of the RAIDO management process.Preparation and facilitation of internal and joint customer RAIDO Review Boards & Brainstorm SessionsAttend reviews with the customer RAIDO Manager to confirm process adherence and progress actions.Work with RAIDO item owners to establish progress against mitigation plans through to completionComplete RAIDO Register updates post review and produce reportsPerform Schedule Monte Carlo AnalysisSupport and attend programme reviews including Programme Management Reviews, Team meetings, Joint Risk and Opportunity Management Board.Develop strong relationships with the customers and subcontractors to ensure that they are meeting their commitments to the project.Who we are looking for:

You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team. You won’t necessarily have a military background, but you’ll understand what it means to serve and to put the mission first.
Success will require innovative thinking, forward planning, and an ability to react quickly to changes. There will be significant exposure and excellent opportunity to advance within the company.
Demonstrable Risk Management experienceGood working knowledge of Risk management tools, preferably Active Risk Manager or similar industry established applicationGood understanding of Monte Carlo Risk AnalysisExcellent organisational skills and an able communicator in verbal, written and presentational forms to all audiences.A team player who works well with others and inspires them to follow in their example and an ability challenge and question. Able to anticipate problems, identify innovative and logical solutions, and then to confidently enact them.Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressureAbility to multitask and be re-tasked at short noticeBusiness finance and Statistical analysis knowledgeDegree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline, or with equivalent non-academic experience. A recognised project management qualification is highly desirable.The successful candidate will be required to complete the SC Security Clearance application.
