Job Description One of our clients is seeking an Okta Identity Policy & Zero Trust Enablement specialist to support the secure rollout and governance of Okta as part of its zero trust identity and access management strategy. This role focuses on identity-based access decisions, including authentication, authorization, MFA, and conditional access, ensuring policies are consistent, scalable, and aligned across the entire organization. This resource will work closely with the company's identity, security, and application teams to translate current identity practices into clear, enforceable Okta policies that support secure access to systems and services. Compensation: $62/hr to $68/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements - 3+ years of experience in identity and access management, particularly with Okta (experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments, familiarity with zero trust identity principles, and experience with identity federation, SAML, OAuth, and SCIM) - Familiarity with directory services and protocols (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory) - Strong communication skills (able to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders) - Direct experience configuring Okta authentication and access policies - Familiarity with CJIS, NIST 800-53, or similar security frameworks - Experience supporting large, federated or public-sector IAM environments - Experience balancing security requirements with usability and operational needs
