Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $55.00/hourLocation: Carlsbad, NMAssignment Duration: Long-term, 12+ monthsWork Schedule: 14/14, 10+ hours per day

Align with Second Line Supervisor and First Line Supervisor on WMS Roles and Responsibilities appropriately for time dedication
Work WMS initiatives across work team as schedule allows
Conduct WM Assessments when engaging with workers in the field
Share learnings with XOM Oversight, FLS & SLS appropriately
As time allows, attend team meetings & safety meetings to share learnings and challenges
Create clarity and train team in use of all WMS Tools (KPA, AGT, ICC, TD’s, etc.)
Encourage FLS & SLS to conduct WM Assessments during their field engagements
Collaborate with NM WMS Champions on WMS implementation and sustainment
Share learnings and challenges at WMS champion meetings
Support WMS & PSMS Training efforts as time allows
Opportunity to develop training skills in training WMS & PSMS modules
Verify training and support scheduling for team members and contractors
Assist with PSMS trainings and engagements when needed if time allows
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredPrior experience working in a multicultural / multilingual, emerging nation, environment Experience in safety-related positions (including some prior oil & gas experience) Behavioral Skills: courage of conviction, makes sound decisions, manages risk, strategic Functional Skills: emergency preparedness and response, incident investigation and analysis, operations integrity and compliance assessment, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) execution support, risk assessment and management, safety management, safety regulations and standards, fundamentals of health, fundamentals of security, environmental business planning, environmental standards, regulation development and advocacy, regulatory compliance and permittingIn depth knowledge of security processes and procedures Proficient in use of computers and programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft Office Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team Demonstrated ability to deliver excellence in project SSHE performance Demonstrated ability to develop successful internal and external working relationships with emphasis on interfacing in a team environment Ability to set priorities and work independently in performing contractor services with an appreciation for company processes and procedures No training will be provided (other than the company’s specific safety standards and procedures)
