Description We are assisting our client a boutique Energy Merchant with their search for a Senior Operator / Scheduler. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics coordination and a strong ability to manage operational tasks efficiently. This role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to ensure smooth workflow and scheduling. Responsibilities: • Manage the daily scheduling and operational tasks related to oil processes within the organization. • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of resources and materials. • Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on operational goals. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze data, creating reports that support decision-making. • Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain seamless processes. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. • Develop strategies for continuous improvement in scheduling and operations. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on operational statuses. • Train and guide team members to enhance their understanding of operational procedures. Requirements • A minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management within the commodity industry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle complex scheduling tasks. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders. • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies. • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to oil operations. • Proven ability to manage logistics and resources effectively. • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
