Airswift is looking for a Transportation and Installation (T&I) Engineer to start work onshore in Paris for a 12 month renewable contract for our very well renowned client.

Responsibilities include: Develop deck layout plans for transport vessels. Design arrangements for transporting modules using Self Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMTs). Prepare specifications for subcontractors and review their technical offers. Coordinate with shipyards, shipowners, Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), and clients. Conduct risk analyses and produce feedback reports. Possibly mobilise on-site (module manufacturing or Louisiana plant site) for loading/unloading operations. Interface with other disciplines and supervise engineers/draftsmen.
Requirements include: Expertise in SPMT operations, ship ballasting procedures, module wedging and vessel movement analysis. Strong knowledge of industry standards such as DNVGL and ISO. Experience in shipyard and offshore activities, particularly in module transport and installation. Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation in English. Familiarity with project quality assurance procedures and best practices.
