Superior Completion Services is currently seeking an Offshore Tool Specialist II for our office in Lafayette, LA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pre‐planning tool jobs Supervising the tool job at customer locations Installing downhole equipment in customers’ wells Single and Multi‐zone gravel pack completions Assist senior-level Tool Specialist with Deepwater completions Frac Pack and HRWP Pack gravel pack completions Packer retrieval completions Documentation of final equipment placement and serial numbers for traceability, field invoicing, and equipment logistics Train/Mentor lower-level Tool Specialists and Associate Engineers Maintaining a safe working environment for the area of responsibility

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required A minimum of three years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency Requirements desired: Offshore rig mechanics and layout Downhole principles Excel and Word computer skills Sand Control techniques and formulas Frac Pack and HRWP gravel pack completions Packer retrieval completions Pre‐job invoice and load out, and delivery records Post job documentation Current practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry Knowledge, competency, and experience in the related field Knowledge relating to completion services procedures and processes Current practices, equipment, materials, and supplies used in the completion tools business

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting - for extended periods without being able to leave the work area Standing - for extended periods without being able to leave the work area Climbing - ladders, scaffolding, working in overhead areas, etc. Walking - considerable distances, please indicate Lifting – Up to 70 Lbs.
