Role Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Offshore Integrity Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of offshore production facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work full-time on a contract basis in Luanda, Angola, supporting vital asset integrity and construction activities in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Key responsibilities: Implement the Management System and promote safety awareness. Demonstrate leadership and act as the company representative onboard. Liaise effectively with all relevant onshore and offshore departments. Lead welding, painting, scaffolding, and construction activities. Ensure installations are performed efficiently according to approved Task Risk Assessments and Permits to Work. Synchronize activities to eliminate occurrences of symptoms. Identify technical issues and escalate them for early resolution. Provide guidance and technical support for Installation Work Package issuance. Plan spool replacements and identify systems to be offline as needed. Ensure effective communication with Project Engineers and Offshore Superintendents. Approve Work Order requests and manage backlog control. Maintain accountability for planning and execution, aiming to reduce activity durations. Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks to ensure safety and efficiency. Cascade safety rules and ensure understanding among the team. Anticipate safety training needs and report them to the HSE advisor. Carry out Emergency Response roles and demonstrate competence in drills. Skills & Qualifications: Technical knowledge of FPSO/FSU/FSO operations. Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level according to CEFR). Experience in welding, painting, scaffolding, spool replacement, PFP, and insulation. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Inspection techniques. Strong analytical skills with a good sense of economics. Ability to manage work effectively under pressure. Education & Experience: Degree qualification in Engineering Discipline or a Technical qualification with proven experience of more than 10 years in production facilities. Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, particularly with FPSOs, piping inspection/construction, and asset integrity.
