Purpose The Offshore Construction Supervisor works under the authority of the Offshore Construction Manager and is responsible for the execution of the operations related to an Installation project in line with the clients standards in terms of HSSE and Quality, the Installation Vessel or FPSO HSSE management system, project requirements and engineering procedures within his 12 hrs shift. Responsibilities Ensure operations are performed efficiently in accordance with the approved Shift Plans, Task Plans, PTW requirements Identify the technical issues and escalate them as appropriate. Log and report progress during the shifts. Run risk assessment and tool box talks ensuring the different departments are working together to ensure safety and efficiency during execution of work Supervise the operations within the various offshore units: Diving/ ROV Supervisor/ Bridge team/ Deck team/Field Engineer/Construction /FPSO team / Third parties Assess and appraise the performance of your team and report it to the OCM When assigned in the office, contribute to project preparation activities with his operational expertise Education Engineering discipline degree or diploma from University or Engineering College recommended. Experience Minimum 3 years experience in offshore subsea and mooring installation works (oil & Gas, Renewable or other relevant industries) . Minimum 5 years experience if coming from deck foreman, ROV/Diving supervisor or Bridge officer positions. Minimum 2 years expereince in team supervisory roles. knowledge of offshore construction techniques and FPSO mooring systems, including ROV, lifting, possibly shallow and deep diving.
