Job Description

The Office Support Specialist provides essential administrative and customer service support by managing incoming calls, processing orders, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role ensures smooth daily operations in the office by responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and organizing documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming phone calls from customers in a professional and helpful manner.Provide information to customers by preparing quotes and responding to questions clearly and accurately.Process customer orders promptly and ensure all required information is complete and correctly entered.Track and document customer requests, orders, and deliveries to maintain accurate records.Sort, assemble, and organize documents to support office operations and record-keeping.Perform general administrative support tasks to assist the team and contribute to efficient office workflows.Essential SkillsProven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Strong administrative support skills with experience handling office tasks and documentation.Accurate and efficient data entry skills with attention to detail.General administration skills, including organizing, filing, and tracking information.At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an agricultural (AG) environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in an agricultural (AG) setting is preferred.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a busy office environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Comfort using office systems and tools to record, track, and retrieve information.Work Environment

The Office Support Specialist works in a traditional office environment focused on supporting daily business operations and customer interactions. The role involves frequent use of office equipment and computer systems for data entry, documentation, and communication. Work is primarily conducted during standard business hours in a professional setting that values reliability, organization, and responsive customer service. Attire is expected to be appropriate for a professional office environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
