Office Manager - Bookkeeper
Description Robert Half is currently recruiting for a highly organized and meticulous Office Manager - Bookkeeper to join our team our client's team Knoxville, Tennessee. This role combines administrative oversight with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities to support the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple tasks, maintaining precise financial records, and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness. • Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records. • Handle month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. • Maintain property management accounting records with a focus on construction-related projects. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to track financial data and generate reports. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. • Address inquiries related to financial matters, providing clear and thorough communication. • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts as needed. • Assist with other administrative and bookkeeping tasks as required. The position is 100% onsite and a associates or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. • Experience with journal entries and month-end closing procedures. • Familiarity with property management and construction accounting practices. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address financial inquiries.
