**Position Title:** OFFICE MANAGER
**Location:** Onsite
**Shift: M-F:** 6 A M to 3 PM. Schedule adjustments as needed to serve business needs.
**Salary:** **$80,000 - $85,000**

**Job Summary**
The **Office Manager** serves as the operational backbone of the organization, ensuring the workplace runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally. This role oversees administrative processes, vendor management, staff support, and the overall workplace experience to maintain a productive, organized, and welcoming environment. This role is fully onsite at a life sciences client’s New York City office.
**Office Operations**
• Oversee daily office functions and ensure a well organized, efficient workspace
• Coordinate catering orders and support/manage all onsite events and meetings
• Manage inventory of office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and facility needs with building services
• Maintain office policies and procedures, updating them as needed in accordance with appropriate partners
• Drive the strict enforcement of the client’s safety, health, and environment program as well as Compass safety standard and OSHA regulations.
• Support any onsite MAC activities in partnership with remote MAC team.
• Any other task as assigned by client or manager.
**Administrative Support**
• Provide administrative support to leadership and team members
• Assist with onboarding new employees
• Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner and in adherence to monthly budgets.
• Provide basic Audio/Visual troubleshooting to office systems; partner with larger AV/IT teams on larger issues.
**Communication & Coordination**
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the office and as a liaison between the building operations.
• Produce office wide communications and assist with internal messaging
**Culture & Workplace Experience**
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive office environment
• Lead initiatives that improve employee experience and office culture
• Ensure the office reflects the company’s values and brand
**Qualifications**
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in administration, business or related field
• Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with office software (Microsoft 365, scheduling tools, etc.)
• Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems proactively
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
**Preferred Skills**
• 2-years related experience in office administration or in an office environment
• Proficiency with MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proven organizational and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Experience interacting with Senior Leadership preferred
• AV troubleshooting experience preferred
• Event management and catering ordering experience preferred
**Work Environment**
• Full time, on site role. Standard Schedule is 6am-3:30pm; adaptable for business needs.
• Fast paced environment requiring adaptability and initiative
