Job Summary
This position plays an important role in the execution and support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) purchase of the THAAD missile defense system. This position will support the KSA Foreign Liaison Officer assigned in Huntsville AL by providing office manager and clerical support. KBR is looking for a person who is capable of bridging culture differences, able manage numerous tasks and projects simultaneously, and has keen attention to detail. Typical daily duties include:
Scheduling meetings between the US Government and the FLO OfficeWorking with the KSA Embassy to process Foreign Visitor RequestsCoordinating facility maintenance activitiesHelping coordinate travel for the FLO and staffPay monthly recurring costs and track monthly expendituresResearch and make special purchasesIf you are looking for an opportunity to work with other cultures while helping support the Foreign Military Sale of one of America’s premier missile defense systems, this opportunity is for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
Answering phonesPerforming clerical tasks such as printing, copying, filing, and mailing documentsScheduling and booking conference roomsCoordinating special events and meetingsPreparing and reviewing correspondence and other executive documentationMaintaining correspondence and visitor logsSubmitting and tracking foreign visitor requestsCoordinate, aid with, and support travel requirementsPrepare and maintain briefings, spreadsheets, and schedulesCoordinate and track external inquiries, suspense, and action itemsTake minutes and/or action items during executive meetings as requiredConduct office management duties such as paying bills, purchasing admin supplies, and overseeing janitorial activitiesPerform other administrative duties as assignedBasic Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel and organizationsCandidate must be a US CitizenPossess (and be able to maintain) a Secret ClearanceHigh School Diploma and 6+ years’ experience or bachelor’s degree and relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications
The ability to read, write, and translate documents from English to ArabicPrevious experience as an office managerPrevious experience as an Administrative Assistant in a Project OfficePrevious experience drafting, submitting and tracking foreign visitor requestsAn understanding of Arabic cultural normsBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR
