Job DescriptionWe have an immediate need for an Office Engineer to assist our preconstruction effort for the Contract Management Division located in Albany, NY. This role is integral to our operations as a top-ranked firm in construction management, engineering, environmental, architectural, and program management solutions.
ResponsibilitiesPre-Advertisement Functions: Handle all tasks involved in preparing for the advertisement of construction contracts.Contract Document Review: Review and ensure the accuracy of contract documents.Advertising: Manage the advertisement process for construction contracts.Bid Auditing: Audit bids to ensure compliance and fairness.Contract Administration: Administer contracts through the pre-award process.Document Preparation: Prepare documents and contract packages for submission to the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC).Procurement Management: Manage the procurement process for public construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations; work closely with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure that projects are awarded on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Essential SkillsAt least five (5) years of experience working on projects valued at over $1M.Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, basic scheduling techniques, payment review, and preparation.Proficient in MS Office; Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel and scheduling applications.Experience in procurement, contract administration, or a related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills.OSHA 10 certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in public procurement and/or public construction is highly desirable.Attention to detail and the ability to self-manage.Knowledge and expertise in reviewing and preparing construction contracting documents for procurement.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
