We’re looking for an Office Assistant/ Receptionist on-site in the professional services industry based in Vancouver, BC.
Our client is establishing a new office in Canada and is seeking a dedicated and professional Office Assistant/ Receptionist to handle daily operations and support international executives. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple administrative functions independently. The Office Assistant/ Receptionist will ensure smooth office operations while providing executive support when required.
Office Assistant/ Receptionist responsibilities:
Manage start-up office tasks including inventory management and purchasing office supplies Act as the main point of contact for executives based overseas, ensuring smooth communication and coordination Prepare and submit daily reports on office activities and updates for management Support executives during Canadian visits with scheduling, logistics, and administrative needs Manage front desk operations: greet visitors, answer phones, and respond to inquiries Maintain office organization, cleanliness, and filing systems Attend initial business meetings as required Perform additional administrative tasks as assignedThe successful candidate has:
2+ years of experience in office administration or receptionist roles Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently and manage confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an advantageCompensation and benefits:
