Our client in Southington, CT is seeking an Office Assistant to support their team with daily operations and ensure the office runs efficiently. Responsibilities: + Perform general administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, filing, and data entry + Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and provide a professional first impression. + Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain calendars for team members. + Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other business documents as needed. + Monitor and order office supplies to ensure inventory is well-stocked. + Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests to meet business needs. + Ensure compliance with office procedures and policies. Qualifications: + Preferred Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office role + Required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Proven experience providing specialized administrative support to an individual or executive. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, particularly in managing complex calendars. • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for document creation and data management. • Previous work experience in a non-profit organization is highly preferred. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members and external contacts. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
