Start Date: The successful applicant will start as soon as available. Salary: $19.75 hourly Benefits: Part-Time Office Assistant in the Criminal Law Division of the Idaho Attorney General’s Office. The position is 19.5 hours per week. Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Primary Duties: The Criminal Law Division fulfills the attorney general’s responsibilities related to criminal law, including handling all criminal appeals in the state, investigating and prosecuting felony crimes, and representing criminal justice agencies. The Office Assistant’s job is to help keep the Criminal Law Division running at peak efficiency. Primary duties for this position include managing and organizing email correspondence, maintaining case files, filing legal documents with the court, proofreading official correspondence, and other duties as assigned based on the skill and experience of the successful candidate. Minimum Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to take directions from others.
