Job Description
As an Office Administrator, you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and handle and resolve complaints. You will report to the Customer Service Manager and work Monday through Friday on the first shift.
Responsibilities
Engage in direct customer contact through phone, fax, mail, or electronic mail, addressing inquiries, order entries, online sales, pricing, product availability, scheduling, delivery dates, packaging, shipping, and customer questions.Process warranty transactions and inform customers of current promotions and specials.Maintain sales records including invoices, credit information, and shipping records.Collaborate with inventory control, production, and shipping personnel to confirm delivery dates or track missing/delayed shipments.Consult with outside sales representatives/managers on behalf of customers.Communicate effectively with customers, outside salespersons, and company personnel.Coordinate with the accounting department on receivables and collections, disputing fines from large retailers, and managing the RGA process due to customer complaints.Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and ensure efficient use of Internet access.Keep equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety rules and regulations.Perform other related duties as required or directed.Essential Skills

You will work in an office setting located in North Haven, CT, within a modern 220,000 sq. foot facility. This facility houses factory, laboratory, and office spaces, ensuring a professional and equipped working environment. The role requires frequent walking, sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
