We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support in various administrative functions, contributing to the efficiency and growth of our operations.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct telephone calls to appropriate personnel.Greet customers and vendors in a professional manner.Assist with accounts receivable and payable, as well as HR-related tasks.Manage billing processes efficiently.Provide support with purchasing, equipment and car rentals, and hotel accommodations.Generate and manage UPS labels.Maintain an organized filing system, including setting up job folders.Schedule appointments and interviews with precision.Compose and send emails as required.Perform other office tasks as needed to support the team.Essential SkillsProven experience in office administration or a related field.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.Excellent clerical skills, including billing and data entry.Prior experience in purchasing assistance.Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.Strong typing and math skills.Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Access or a similar database is a plus.Outstanding customer service and administrative assistance capabilities.Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a small office attached to a manufacturing warehouse. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
