Job Summary
The Office Administrator is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the administrative office functions, coordinating plant personnel matters, compliance with HR government and corporate regulations, and compliance with accounting policies.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with plant management to assist with their staffing needsPosting jobs and screening applicantsManaging temporary agencies and employeesCompliance with pre-employment drug test screening oversees the new hire and orientation processEnsures all new hires have access to the Employee Self-Service system and complete their benefits enrollmentEnsures employees have access to IPay to view and print their paystubsEnsures time and attendance system is accurate, and submits hours to the Payroll department on time for processingIdentifies, researches, and resolves Administrative problems and opportunitiesAssists with accounting functions in accordance with established procedures and Company policyReviewing Internal Control Checklist with ManagementAssists in ensuring the plant complies with Federal, State, and Company personnel laws and regulations, and HR policies and practicesDistributes and posts communication pieces and materials throughout the office and the plant as necessaryEnsures all personnel documents are scanned into OnBase to be filed into the employee's personnel fileCompletes special projects as needed.Performs other duties as requiredQualifications
Minimum high school diploma with experience in administration/accountingMinimum of one year of experience in office administration or related areasWorking knowledge in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc.)The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
